Tiramisu is my favorite desert. I recently had one at a restaurant that was a bit dry, and remarked that as a longtime connoisseur of tiramisu, I could definitely make a better one.
I took that dare, and made this tiramisu for Christmas Eve desert. Not gonna lie, it was damn delicious.
P.S. - my wonderful friend Avra made me that awesome flowery apron!
Chocolate cake for breakfast is a totally legit choice.
Chocolate cake.
No recipe because this masterpiece came from a box. But I did learn that when you are in drastic need of a substitution for powdered sugar when making frosting (for example, were you to mis-read the recipe, thinking you only needed 3 Tbsp when really you needed 3 cups of powdered sugar…), you can use a combination of flour+sugar (and maybe a little extra milk) in a pinch.
There’s nothing wrong with making an entire chocolate cake for myself and eating it straight from the pan, right?
